This is a small family-owned tapas bar (small appetizers) where you can sample a variety of Spain’s famous tapas – almost all are made in-house and are delicious. Take your time and hang out for hours and sample the tasty little bites while you sip on a beer or a local wine. Eating tapas is one of my favorite pastimes. One bit of advice; don’t assume that something tastes the same in Spain as it does in the US. I was never much for anchovies, but in Spain I discovered an entirely new obsession. The small fish are cleaned and filleted and then marinated in good olive oil, a little vinegar, garlic and parsley. Put that on a thin slice of fresh bread and you’ll know why tapas are so popular. Located on Paseo del Saladar – which is within walking distance of the main street, Calle Campos. Ask anyone and they can point you to it.
